The creation of nuclear weapons by human hands was a surprising development that the order did not expect to be possible given human technology, but once they managed to make it happen, they order realized that humans should have a way to create mass destruction. The reason for letting them keep these weapons is that if they ever use them to wage war against each other, this would let the order know that the human race was too flawed to ever be allowed to exist.
Basically the order allow human beings to keep their nuclear weapons because they don’t believe they will be dumb enough to put them to use against each other. Historically this has been very close to happening and it already happened in some areas of the world, but it is expected that humans will not be stupid enough to go into a full nuclear war against each other.
It would be mass suicide-cum-murder. Straight thinking humans must lead! Nicely HGW!

ReplyDeleteSadly, the humans do not always make wise decisions. And, there are some terribly evil sects who operate upon ideology. Can the Order do something about them?
