I seldom if ever watch a video of this length to its end. But this time I did. Being old enough (b.1951) I remember events leading up to the conclusion. McCarthy. Bay of Pigs. Cold War. Vietnam. Nixon who of "I am not a crook" fame. Nixon who took away the gold standard that started the cascade. the arrogance of a nation insisting on its currency be the common currency. Libya. Iran and the Shah. Etc. etc. etc. Is there anyone wandering around with a lantern looking for an honest man? He would not find one in government of the past few decades or now.
I am angry, because I see it all happening and feel the helplessness. Not for myself, but for my grandchildren.
